ABOUT ROB MOORE

EXHIBITIONS 2016

Following the large and successful exhibition at The Inspired by Gallery in the Danby North York Moors Centre last November where I showed new paintings and drawings alongside Wendy Tate a smaller selection from that show is now on view at Gallery 49 in the old High Street Bridlington .

I am now having a break from large exhibitions both to re-evaluate my work but also to establish a new studio and workshops in Irton near Scarborough UK. I will be continuing to show the odd new work in mixed shows and have also agreed to run one or two workshops for the Forestry Commission in Dalby Forest in mid May. Details will be accessible through the Forest Park Centre there via Petra Young.

I make work in painting, drawing and printmaking. My work is in many public and private collections and I exhibit regularly in the UK.
I have relocated my studio to Scarborough North Yorkshire where with my partner I have opened a new printmaking workshop for use by artists and the public . Details of artist led workshops and the membership scheme are available by emailing me .
Two books have been published about my work with critical essays contributed by Professor Anne
Grebby, Anna-Kirk Smith and Stef Mitchell. The book, "Landmarks", is available for £5.

"Living Landscape " contains images and contributions from six artists including myself . An excellent essay by Lynne Green is included in the book.
The catalogues are available for £5 by contacting me via this site.i can post out copies of both signed books if you contact me by email.
The Watermark online gallery has details of my current drawing and print works on paper .
